This is the hour for abundance! God wants all His sheep to rebuke a poverty mindset that allows the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy and come and eat from His pasture. He has set places of abundance for us to go in and out of to receive and get full from Him. These are places to gain knowledge and revelation of His Word, commune with the Holy Spirit, get rest, and restore our souls. The pasture is a place of growth and increase.
John 10:9-11 (NKJV)
9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
Jesus came to give His life so that we may live our lives in abundance. He doesn’t want us to lack in any area of our lives or in any circumstance. The enemy wants us to suffer and have lack in all things. He comes to try our faith and take our hope. He comes to torment us through situations to lead us from the pasture (where we get fed by God) and bring us to a place where we submit to his lies. Even in hard circumstances, if we continue to stand on God’s Word, he will turn it around for our good and make a fool of the enemy. We have to continue to trust God in all things!
1 Kings 18:41
[ The Drought Ends ] Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.”
There has been a great drought for the people of God. I believe this has come from the lack of demonstration of His Word. We have gotten comfortable in going to church and not being the church. We study the word without seeking true understanding and believing its truth for us in the times we are in now. We have lacked the faith to operate in the power that the Holy spirit has given us through Jesus Christ……..but I hear the sound of abundance of rain. He wants to pour down water from the river of God with abundance. He is releasing belief, refreshing, healing, restoration, deliverance, hope, and anything else that we stand in need of. Abundance is here to receive
Psalm 65:10-12 (NKJV)
10 You water its ridges abundantly,
You settle its furrows;
You make it soft with showers,
You bless its growth.
11 You crown the year with Your goodness,
And Your paths drip with abundance.
12 They drop on the pastures of the wilderness,
And the little hills rejoice on every side.
God is crowning our year with goodness. He is making the soil of our hearts soft to receive the seed of His blessing on good ground. He is filling all of our voids and blessing us with growth. He is raining on the dry places of our lives.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8 (NKJV)
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
His abundance is not for us but for His glory. He wants to bless us to be a blessing. When we align our hearts to give, He makes all grace to abound towards us. Abound means to exist in great quantities and to be rich or well supplied. This is why His grace is sufficient! He wants us to have abundance for every good work. So any work that is purposed to give Him glory, He has already supplied the resources to achieve. As we give our gifts, talents, time, resources, and finances to be a blessing towards others, He will be sure to rain on us so that we may drip with abundance!
Father, we thank You for Your abundance. Forgive us for letting the enemy steal the life of abundance that You have prepared for us. We know that Your grace is sufficient. Show us areas in our lives where we have not trusted Your Word. We receive Your restoration and refreshing. We want to be a blessing and be demonstrators of Your kingdom power. We want to live in the fullness of your grace that leads to abundance. Make our hearts soft towards Your purpose and show us how to walk in those things. We receive Your rain and are in great expectation of growth and increase. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
