HEAVEN'S GARDEN

It Doesn't End Wrong

Do you ever wonder why in certain areas in your life things just seem to fall apart no matter how much you try to hold them together? Maybe you have heard the saying that things don’t end wrong, they start off wrong. This saying is very true. Even if you are a believer, you might be having issues keeping things together.  Jesus is our rock. We must be mindful to build every area of our life on His firm foundation. I’ve seen so many times people who keep God in church, but won’t apply Him to their business/work. They try to have a personal relationship by prayer but won’t let Him into their marriages or parenting. We often like to keep God in a box and limit Him to areas where we think He will be most useful. This is not how God has intended to have a relationship with us. He wants us to build every area of our lives on top of the fullness of the cross and the victory that we already have through Christ Jesus. He is concerned about every area of our lives and wants to bless us, but we must let Him in first. When we hear God’s word but don’t do it in certain areas, those areas will certainly fall apart when trouble comes.

Luke 6:48-49 (KJV)

48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Not only do things immediately fall apart, but the damage is great. It is hard to recover when great damage hits our house. The good news is that it is not too late. You can go to God and repent for not given Him everything. Ask Him to be your rock and firm foundation in everything that you do. Then begin to build those areas according to the word of God. Trouble will surely still come, but when it does, you will not be shaken. God will protect you and keep you safe. He will save and deliver you.

Psalm 18:2

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

You can trust that God will work all things out for your good because you have surrendered it all to Him.

Isaiah 28:16 (AMP)

16 Therefore thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am laying in Zion for a foundation a Stone, a tested Stone, a precious Cornerstone of sure foundation; he who believes (trusts in, relies on, and adheres to that Stone) will not be ashamed or give way or hasten away [in sudden panic].

Jesus is a sure foundation. Everything that is built on Him will last. You might still be thinking that it’s too late. You have already built an empire on a false foundation. I am here to tell you that once you repent, God gives you clean slate. A chance to make things right. He won’t hold your past against you and he will redeem the time. The fruit of your labor will be sweet and will be worthy for the generations to come.

Read 1 Corinthians 3

Father, we thank You for giving us a sure foundation. We are thankful that your mercy gives us a chance rebuild by your strength and wisdom. Help us search out Your word to gain understanding on how to build for the generations. Forgive us for putting You in a box and not trusting You with everything. Today we give it all to You. Come in and restructure our lives and place us on the rock that is our Lord Jesus Christ. We will not be put to shame because we trust in You. We give You all the glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

I am a married, mother of six. My desire is to see the brokenhearted healed, the captives set free, and gifts and callings activated by the power of God through prayer and prophecy.
