So what is the will of God for believers in this season? The stage is set for God to place His fingerprint on the lives of believers. I believe He is about to come in and mark us with His glory. The fruit of our labor is going to be rewarded. He is coming into our situations and not only turning them around for our good, but also manifesting miracles that will make His name great before those that hated us because they don’t believe. The will of God is this:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-24
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.
Blessing and Admonition
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
We can’t let the times discourage us. Our posture needs to be of one rejoicing and giving thanks. We need to be praying about everything. All of these foolish distractions have put a heaviness on God’s people. The state of America has put us in complain and murmur mode. The enemy wants to keep us in the wilderness and keep us from our promise!
We can’t quench the Spirit! We have to lean into God to hear past the noise to what our Holy Spirit is saying. If we don’t know what to pray, we must pray in the Spirit. Overwhelming discouragement can cause hopelessness that causes prayerlessness. We have to stay in the Spirit!
We can’t despise our prophesies because of our waiting period. We must test the words that have been released and hold onto what is good despite how long it seems to be taking. We must stay in faith and refrain from the evils that could corrupt our promise.
Prayer completely cleanses us and keeps us blameless. Prayer keeps us in peace despite of the chaos around us. Prayer keeps us faithful and puts us in position to receive what God has promised. He is faithful!
So get ready God’s people! He is coming to show himself strong! He is coming in power with miracle signs and wonders! He is coming with love, joy, and fulfillment! He is coming with wisdom, strategy, and instructions! He is coming with answers, solutions, and resources! He is coming with everything that we need. He already has it and is waiting for His perfect timing to release it. His Word is truth. He cannot lie and is faithful to fulfil what He has promised. Don’t give up now. Our lives are about to change as we know it!
Father, we thank You that You have a will for our lives. Thank You for every prophetic promise and assignment. Forgive us for giving up hope and being distracted and discouraged by world affairs. Today we put our focus back on You. We surrender all to You in prayer, rejoicing with thanksgiving. Help to keep us from every evil. We choose to stay in the Spirit and know that You are faithful to do what You have promised. We are ready for You. We want to be sanctified and blameless to receive everything that you have to release into our lives. We give You all of the glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
