HEAVEN'S GARDEN

Shine As Lights

1/17/2017

I wasn’t sure where to begin, coming back from my long journey of having my new bundle of joy. It has been a rough season, but I feel the Lord pressing me to write once again. So today when I opened up my bible application, this was the verse that was featured.

Philippians 2:14-15
14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

This really hit home for me. How can we do all things without complaining and disputing? What does that even look like? First, I believe, if we are being led by the Holy Spirit, then we are in the will of God. So many times throughout the day, we do things without consideration of what God would want us to do. We don’t align ourselves with the Word of God and this leads to frustration. Hence, the complaining and disputing. When we complain and dispute after receiving clear instructions from God, then we are basically disrespecting Him by not trusting His guidance and doubting His plans. This puts us at fault. Even if we obey, if we do it while complaining, then we are doing it out of works without faith. We need both to be a light unto this perverse and crooked world.

1 Samuel 15:22
22 So Samuel said:
“Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.

God isn’t impressed with how much we sacrifice for Him. It all belongs to Him anyway. He is pleased by our obedience. We must still stand strong against the world systems. Instead of complaining, we need to put our faith into action by creating God given solutions instead of complaining. We have no need to dispute with the world about spiritual things because a carnal mind won’t understand them (1 Corinthians 2:14).

We shine when we do all things like we are doing them for the Lord. We need to make a conscience effort to always do our best and not fall into the snare of laziness and half-stepping. Everything the Lord tells us to do is not easy, but the results of obedience will be increase, promotion, and blessing. God takes pleasure in our prosperity and will give us our desires if we take pleasure in Him. We do this with our obedience.

I encourage you today to take a look at what is frustrating you. Measure how you are handling those areas against God’s Word. Ask God to give you instructions. Wait for the Holy Spirit to lead you, and obey. Bridle your tongue against complaining and disputing. Put a praise and thanks where those blaming words would once be.

Father, we thank You that You are a God of new grace and new mercy. We thank You that You give us instructions and have a clear purpose for a lives. Lord, we want to be blameless and harmless. Forgive us for complaining and arguing with You even as we obey. We want our light to shine before men. We want to have solutions and not add to the problems of this generation. Show us our part and teach us how to be grateful and content in all that we do. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

If I Gave Up Now.....

This has been an extremely rough season for me. You know the kind where everything seems to be falling apart and looking like the exact opposite of what God has promised You and what You have been declaring. The scripture that I always stand on for seasons like this is:

Proverbs 13:12

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

I always imagine how satisfying the tree of life is. It sits in the Garden of Eden where I can commune freely with God. It sits beside the clear, pure river of life that proceeds from God’s throne. It bears multiple fruits in season and always gives increase. It Provides healing for the nations. (Read Rev. 22)

Thinking about this tree is usually enough to restore my hope and sustain me to keep moving forward. But I have been weary. I’ve been faced with challenges that have worn me out and battles that have left me weak. I’ve cried. I’ve prayed. I’ve prophesied. I’ve declared. I’ve continued to stand on God’s promise over my life. Though I’ve done all I know how to do, things haven’t appeared to change. In fact, the attacks have gotten stronger and I believe the devil has tried to take me and all my children out. Last week while on an outing with all 5 of my children, someone crashed into the back of my car causing it to spin out. The Holy Spirit led me to pray over our travels before leaving that day and I know God was with us. Despite the damage to our car and the scare of the accident, God protected us from hurt. All of us were okay besides some minor neck and back stiffness. They had to keep me in the hospital and monitor the baby (I’m 37 weeks pregnant), all the tests were showing a healthy baby. I come home from the hospital to my family and realize that my 2-year-old isn’t feeling well. She had gotten a contagious virus that would normally take about 10 days to recover from. Jesus! I can’t take anything else. These things were on top of other battles that I have already been facing. There was a give-up in my soul that wanted to overcome me. I needed a word from the Lord!

The next day my husband stayed home with my sick baby so that I could go to church. Worship always brings me to a place where I can hear more clearly from God. I needed to do this without the distractions of my home and children. I was desperate. I prayed all the way to church. I cried out to God and confessed how desperate that I was for His deliverance.
I needed Him to speak to me and give me renewed strength.

As I worshipped, I had a vision of olives, grapes, and a diamond. This is something that God has shown me before and I realize the significance of the pressing of each of these items. As I entered into the Spirit, God took me deeper and spoke to me. He told me that I could give up now if I wanted to. Then He asked, “Do you want to be regular olive oil or extra virgin olive oil? Do you want to be regular seedless grapes or big table grapes that have seeds to multiply with as the new wine is produced? Do you want to be a cloudy, dirty diamond with visible imperfections or do you want to be a flawless diamond with crystal clear color and clarity?

God presses us for results that will purify our character. He strengthens us and prepares us for our call and purpose. If we give up before He is finished pressing us, we will never come to the fullness of what He has promised and planned for our lives.

The truth is, for me, given up is not an option. I have no choice but to trust God. He has delivered me from way too much to stop believing Him now. He has proven Himself in my life way beyond my comprehension. I have tried many other solutions, but God is the only thing that has worked. Sometime it is hard to trust what we can’t see, but our faith is what will move mountains and produce miracles.

I encourage you today to not give up. No matter what it looks like right now, God has a plan. Your pressing is going to produce results that not only make you beautiful, but will flow from you to beautify others.
I know that hope deferred has made you sick, but you are standing right before your coming desire that will be like a tree of life. The scripture doesn’t say if it comes, it says when it comes. It is a sure thing. God has not changed His mind and the devil can’t win unless you let him by giving up.

I speak strength to your mind, body, soul, and spirit. I speak rest and peace to the chaos around you. Clarity, strategy and wisdom is yours. Let the refreshing winds of the spirit blow and cause the fire of God to burn all discouragement and doubt. Let the voice of the enemy be shut down by the truth of God’s Word. May His love consume you and restore your hope once again. You are who God says you are and will receive all that He has promised. Declare your victory and keep pressing in to Him as He presses you for greatness!

Father, we thank You for your sovereignty. We know that it is you that has authority over all things. Forgive us for wanting to give up and for losing hope. We put our trust in You and look forward to experiencing the tree of life. Help us endure the pressing and not give up until you are finished. We want the end result to be the fullness of Your promise. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

Victory Is Ours!

10/24/2016

Jesus Christ died so that we may have victory over all. So why does it seem so many times that we are in losing battles?

Revelation 12:11
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. His blood is the proof of God’s love and the hope for our future. His death gave us access to overcome every plot and plan developed to destroy us. Although His blood carries all the power to destroy evil, we still have to play our part. God’s love and grace are given freely, but victory comes when we co-labor with God.

The Word of our testimony can only come if we endure the battle to the end. If we give up before God’s will is produced, then there is no testimony to share. Our testimony should be one filled with faith, knowing and proclaiming that God delivered us. He must get the glory. True victory can only be established when our testimony rests in Him.

We cannot love our lives unto death. This means that no matter what people say, think, or do, we must choose to be obedient to what God has instructed us. We must be willing to kill all of our flesh that stands in the way of fulfilling our purpose.

Matthew 16:24
Take Up the Cross and Follow Him
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

Romans 6:6
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

We must die to sin. We must be willing to suffer for what is right. We must be willing to stand against evil until deliverance comes. We must pick up our cross daily! Every day that we wake up there is battle before us that is seen and unseen. Victory is ours, but we have to be willing to bleed with Jesus in order to overcome.

The world is waiting for our testimony. They long to see the supernatural power of the blood. Let’s match His blood with our daily cross.  Let our testimony pierce people’s hearts with the love and sure deliverance of our Savior!

Father, we thank You that You loved us so much that You gave Your Son as a sacrifice. Thank You for establishing victory in us by Your Word. Forgive us for giving up too easily and not completely giving up our flesh. Show us how to take up our cross daily. Let the testimony of Jesus be on our lips continually. Teach us how to overcome in every situation. Today we proclaim victory. We speak destruction to the evil plans of the enemy against our lives and ask for strategy, endurance, and a new level of faith to defeat every demonic system that comes against us. Your blood was not wasted! We know that it holds all power. Teach us how to use it in every situation. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The Double-Minded Church

10/17/2016

This season in our nation has brought on more division than I remember experiencing in my 41 years. I’m not naïve, I understand our country has always been divided on certain issues, but I’ve never seen so many issues brought to the forefront at one time. There is definitely a shifting taking place and the devil is using every opportunity to put people against each other. He is strategically causing confusion and offense. He is causing the church to rise in its flesh, and waver against 2 opinions. The church is spending so much time fighting one another instead of fighting the evil that is before them. It’s time to choose.

1 Kings 18:21
21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

Division is a great attack against our stability. If the enemy can keep the church wavering, then he has broken our foundation and has stolen our dominion.

James 1:8
8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

We have to know what we stand for. We can no longer allow the world to define our beliefs. We have to seek God and trust the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us in all truth. It is time to get out of our flesh and do what we see our Father doing. The world is temporal, but we are promised everlasting life in God’s Kingdom through Jesus. If the church remains divided, it will not stand (Mark 3:25). Are we so arrogant to think that our opinions are higher than God’s Word? We have to stop filtering things through our flesh and let the Word judge every circumstance. No matter what the government says and what laws are passed, there are still some things that are an abomination to the Lord. Are we willing to believe/trust God even if under persecution? These are the times that we are in.

Even with all of this, God is still merciful. As believers, His love covers our sin. As judgement comes to the house of God, we have to search ourselves and repent for double-mindedness and remember all that we have been forgiven. We have to take on humility and receive the grace of God to minister the gift that God has given us in love. God wants us to be good stewards of His grace. I know in myself, I do not qualify to stand as an example of perfection. I have been forgiven of much sin and have lived an unholy life. Even after being saved by His grace, I have struggled with issues and have had to let God work deliverance from my flesh. We are all being perfected and growing in faith and glory. Our goal should be a life that mirrors the Word of God and worthy to represent His name for the Kingdom.

1 Peter 4:8-10
8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”[a] 9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

I am not perfect, but I love God and want what He wants. We have to put on the mind of Christ and seek unity in the spirit by the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3). Our thoughts must be single and set on God. The only way to punish disobedience is to fulfill our own obedience. We can’t be hypocrites.  It’s time to truly seek God and pray fervently for the church and for our nation. We must, as the church, repent for our sins. God will give us strategy and wisdom to overcome the enemy. He will heal the church and heal the land, but we must come out of our flesh.

2 Corinthians 10:4-6
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Father we thank You for Your manifold grace. Forgive us for being double-minded and prideful. We know that our opinions mean nothing if they don’t line up with Your Word. Let the love of Jesus flow through us as we minister the gift that You have given us. Help us remember all that we have been forgiven and show mercy as You have shown us. We want to be stable. We rebuke the enemy that has caused division and offense and we loose unity in the spirit by the bond of peace. We fall out of alignment with those things that You call an abomination and we bind ourselves to Your truth. We choose You this day. We know that You are the one true and living God. Give us strength to fight the battles ahead and strategy over the enemy’s plans. Lord, we ask that You heal the church and heal our land. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

Roots And Fruit

9/26/2016

Now that harvest time is here, it is a good time to reflect and take inventory of our fruit. Our fruit will reveal what is working and what is not. It will confirm our productivity and if we are advancing our taking steps back.

Every tree stands based on its root. The root supports the branch which bears the fruit. The branch doesn’t support the root (Romans 11:18). What we are rooted in will determine the kind of fruit that we produce.

Matthew 3:10

And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

We do not want to be the tree that gets thrown into the fire. That is why it is critical to take an honest look at ourselves and make the proper adjustments. For example, if we have produced a fruit of bitterness, then somewhere there is root of unforgiveness. So many times we try to put Band-Aids on the symptoms instead of finding the root cause of all the trouble. It’s like continually taking medicine for a headache, without ever trying to find out the reason why we are having them. The root could be that we need glasses, have allergies, or not getting the proper sleep. If we never seek the root cause, eventually the real issue could get worse, causing more problems. The medicine that we take could be damaging our liver and kidneys, while the real problem continues to increase without our knowledge because we are masking the symptoms.

Most times we don’t want to evaluate the real issue because it seems impossible to deal with. Our hurt and pain have put mountains before us. We would rather take the long way around the mountain than digging into it to conquer.

Job 28:9

He puts his hand on the flint; He overturns the mountains at the roots.

God has given us the ability to overturn mountains at its roots. Not only that, we will find precious gems and gold as we conquer our mountains. Our mountains are removed by our faith and obedience. We have to let God work new levels of faith in us so that we can move those mountains and move our trees to a new place. We must get past the issues of our past that have caused us stagnation. God is bigger than any abuse, neglect, rejection, abandonment, trauma, shame, etc. that we have experienced. He is bigger than the voice of the enemy that has planted roots of evil that have caused us to fall out of agreement with what God has called us to be.

Luke 17:6

So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

If our roots are planted in a dry place, then we will never be able to produce the fruit that God wants to come from our trees. The water that we need comes from God’s Word and the river of the Holy Spirit that He has placed on the inside of us. If we deny those things, then our prosperity will be hindered.

Jeremiah 17:8

For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

When we are planted by the water, there is no need to worry or fear. We will always produce the fruit God intended when we are rooted in the water of His Word.

Colossians 2:6-10

6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it[
a] with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

When we are rooted in Christ, we become established. We can walk in His authority and faith. We can be thankful for His abundance and become whole. God completes us and because of this, we have power over every evil power that would try to come against us.

Ephesians 3:16-19

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what
is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

When our roots are planted in love which is Christ, we are strengthened and filled with the fullness of God. This love will overpower any and every bad seed that tries to infiltrate our root system. When we are lacking love, we become weak. When we lack love, we produce fruit that is the opposite of God’s purpose.

It’s time to speak to our mountains. It’s the season to pull up our trees and plant them by the water. We need to cut out roots that are hindering our fruit and establish ourselves in faith and love. We have to be honest with ourselves and stop treating the symptoms without finding the cure. We have to address the issues of our past without fear, knowing that God will reveal the gems to keep and the lies to throw in the fire. We are complete and have access to the fullness of God through His love.

Father, we thank You that You are the root that supports us. Forgive us for allowing the enemy to come and intertwine evil roots that have produced rotten fruit or hindered our production of good fruit. Forgive us for treating the symptoms instead of seeking You for the cure. Search us and help us evaluate our fruit according to Your Word. Increase our faith to speak to our mountains and move our trees to a place where Your water flows. We want to prosper in ever season. We want to be rooted, established, and strengthened in Your love and faith. Let us be known by our fruit which is produced by Your love. Do it Lord, according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

Daniels Emerge!                                                                          (A Believer's Answer To Political Corruption)

9/19/2016

It’s time for the Daniels to emerge! Daniel was not only a prophet of the living God; he was also appointed by the king, chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. Those that believe that Christians should stay away from politics should take time to read about Daniel, Joseph, Nehemiah, Deborah, and Esther. We need kingdom minded people to be influencers to our nations policies and culture. We need to be at all high levels of influence, if we want to make a change.

Although the King loved Daniel, the other governors disliked him.  They wanted him gone and tricked the king into making a law that would get Daniel in trouble because of His love of God. Wow, corruption in politics has been since the beginning! Sounds a lot like laws that are being established right now. Laws that get the ones who love God in trouble. The longer that I live the more I understand in Ecclesiastes where it says there is nothing new under the sun. The devil uses the same tricks over and over to devour the people of God.

1 Peter 5:8
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because[a] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

The devil roams around looking, but if he can’t find anything in you to use as an attack. He has no case. Even when He tries, God is greater, He is bigger, and He is sure to deliver His people out of trouble.

So Daniel continued to pray to God in plain sight, even though the law forbids him to do so. Like always, Daniel loved God too much to conform to the governments evil ways. He made a choice to follow God’s laws over man. He was, of course, caught praying by the other governors. The king was forced to follow the law, and throw him into the lion’s den. The king fasted and couldn’t sleep because of this. He returned to the den in the morning with hope that the living God that Daniel serves would deliver him. He called out to Daniel and Daniel answered.

Daniel 6:22-23
22 My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.” 23 Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God.

God is with those that are bold enough to stand up against the Babylonian system. God’s truth will always prevail over the wicked adversary. We believers must no longer be afraid of the laws of man, but fear God to the point of rejection of any wicked laws that would try to destroy us. We might be thrown in the den with the lions that want to open their mouths against us. They may slander, backbite, and try to devour, but if we stand strong in faith that God is our deliverer, He will not put us to shame. In fact, He will prove Himself through us. He will make the people in authority Fear Him and change the laws in His favor.

Daniel 6:26-27
26 I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel.
For He is the living God,
And steadfast forever;
His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed,
And His dominion shall endure to the end.
27 He delivers and rescues,
And He works signs and wonders
In heaven and on earth,
Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Daniels, our examples of boldness will lead our nation back to the fear of the Lord. They will see that He works signs and wonders and realize that His kingdom cannot be destroyed.

It is time to resist the lie that we can’t take action. God is waiting on us to do something that will usher in His power that He may release His glory over us and the cities that we dwell. We can no longer be silent, passive, and afraid. We must emerge and take back dominion. We are the repairers of the breach. God is with us. What is God telling you to do that may seem to go against the world view system? Time to put a plan in action! God will make all the rulers of places of influence pay attention.

Father, we thank You that You are a deliverer. We thank You that Your character never changes and Your kingdom is everlasting. Forgive us for fearing man more than we fear You. Give us courage, boldness, and wisdom to take on the ruling wicked powers in places of influence. Put us in places of government. Let the prophets have Influence and access into the ears and hearts of kings. Let our voices have the life giving force of your breath. Help us speak life and expose all of the wicked doings in dark places. Prove Yourself through us and let all see how great is our God. Do it for Your glory. Let all the nations praise You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

New Day, New You!

9/12/2016

We are in a new day. A new day brings on new opportunities, new grace, new mercy, new revelation, and even new trials. God gives us the blessing of starting a new life, once we receive him as our Savior.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

When we are in Christ, we automatically have access to all of His attributes. The full work of the cross was finished for us to have power, authority, dominion, good health, prosperity, long life, eternal life, and freedom from all the works of the devil.

The problem is that even though these things belong to us, we hang on to the things that are now dead. Why do we keep the old things that have passed away? If something is dead, then it is useless. It can’t produce life. It can only stink, make mold, attract maggots, and so forth. Carrying the old things around is like carrying dead weight that slows us down. If we want to advance into the new things, we have to get rid of the dead weight of the old things.

Change is a beautiful thing when we are in Christ. If we resist change, then we can’t advance.
Advancing requires us to learn new tasks and do things differently. We can’t expect to keep doing the same things and get different results. We have to be flexible and be led by the spirit. If we are lazy, we will miss the new thing that God is doing. If we love God, then we are protected by the disasters that come up and are promised that God will work it out for our good. When we get stuck doing something the same way all the time and refuse to change, then we are doing it religiously. A spirit that resists change is a religious spirit. A religious spirit has knowledge (like the Pharisees), but lack the power that Jesus died so that we may have. He has called us to do greater works than Him. Jesus always did things out of the box. Not only did He change the way things were traditionally done, but even when He performed the same type of miracle, He did or said something different to get results. Instead of systematically saying the same prayer, He only did and spoke what He heard and saw the Father doing.  God will create change through us according to what the individual that we are ministering to needs, not through what we feel comfortable doing or saying. We have to have new eyes to see and new ears to hear every time we do something.

Isaiah 43:19
Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

God wants to do amazing things for us and through us that we have never seen or experienced before. We cannot receive roads in the wilderness and rivers in the desert if our minds are closed to change. If we think things are impossible or too weird to be true, then we will not get to experience the new thing. The new thing will always be so extraordinary that it gives God all of the glory.

 Romans 12:2
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We can’t take on the mind and limitations of the world. We have to take on the mind of Christ that transforms us to prove by the fruit that we produce from it, the perfect will of God. God will always prove Himself through us. Through the change that takes place in our lives, we magnify His image and glory. This is why when we trust in Him that He won’t put us to shame. It is for His glory. We are witnesses to the lost of the goodness of God.

New day. New eyes. New ears. New mindset. New you!
Change is not optional; it is a requirement. If we refuse change than God can’t transform us from in new levels of strength, faith and glory. We can’t enter into prosperity with a poverty mindset. We can’t enter into complete freedom with a slave mentality. We can’t enter into limitless possibilities if we are burdened by what seems to be impossible. We can’t enter into our purpose if we are holding on to the old things that have kept us from it.

It’s time to let it go. Let go of the yoke that has held you back. Get rid of the dead weight that has produced rotten results in your life. Your deliverance is in your willingness to change, to behold the new thing. Look and see the new path set before you. There is a water of refreshing waiting for you to drink. Clear your nostrils and smell the sweet aroma of change. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Listen, there is a trumpet of victory, and counsel by the spirit. See in heavenly places, there is a new perspective. Think with the mind of Christ. Transformation in your mind will lead to transformation in your circumstances.

Read Isaiah 58. God wants us to restore the streets that we dwell in. We are to be repairers of the breach. He wants us to shine in dark places. We must embrace the new thing. The world is longing for change. We are the ones that will bring it.

Father, we thank You that You are doing a new thing. Forgive us for being stubborn and religious. Forgive us for resisting change. Break us free from every old, dead thing that has held us back. Deliver us from the fear of change. Transform us and prove yourself through us. We want to be in Your perfect will. Give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and the courage to do what the spirit is showing us. We want to be a light in dark places. We want to repair the streets that we dwell in. we want to walk in the full power that Jesus died on the cross for us to have. We silence the enemy that would keep us from advancing and tread over him like the snake that he is. We will not be held back any longer. Today we advance into the new day. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

Triumph Over Accusations

8/29/2016

We are entering into a great season of promotion/elevation, increase/multiplication and blessing/prosperity. The devil has no intention of stepping to the side while God works all of this out in our lives. He knows this is a crucial time in the Kingdom and is coming from every angle to hinder what God has already predestined. He is a deceiver and will come to trick even the very elect into believing his lies. I’ve seen this happen with many people that I have admired. People who have spoken the Word of the Lord with accuracy and love God.

Matthew 24:24
24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

No one is exempt! It doesn’t matter the title, the anointing, or even the demonstration, that someone has. The devil comes cunningly with deception and will use every opportunity to pervert the gifts that God has given us. We have to stay humble before the Lord constantly asking Him to search our hearts and open to His correction. We must stay in a posture of conviction and repentance, seeking clean hands and a pure heart.

Now is the time where we have to stay in the spirit and pray continuously. We have to judge everything according to God’s Word without twisting the text. Correction is very much needed for the saints, because of this, the accuser is working double time to falsely judge the ones who are in alignment with God’s plan. The great news is, that if we are serving the Lord, He will vindicate us.

Isaiah 54:17
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

The Message
but no weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar. This is what God’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.” God’s Decree.

The Voice
But no instrument forged against you will be allowed to hurt you, and no voice raised to condemn you will successfully prosecute you. It’s that simple; this is how it will be for the servants of the Eternal; I will vindicate them.

AMP
“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord.

NLT
But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Wow, all of these different versions add such a rich understanding of this scripture! We wrestle in the spirit, not against flesh and blood. We stay serving the Lord, no matter the circumstance, and He will clear us from the accusations that have been holding us back.

There have been words that have been spoken that have seemed to keep us from our promise. There have been unjustified offenses that have been taken on by people from hearsay. There have been false assumptions and misunderstandings that have been orchestrated by perceptions filtered by the devil. There have been witchcraft prayers that have been spoken over us.

God is coming to vindicate us! We will triumph over all accusations and rise to have dominion in this season. Pray that the saints of God be turned to His voice. We must stay in unity with God’s plan and focus on what God is doing and not what man is or isn’t doing. Press in a little while longer. Don’t give in to the counterfeit. The real thing is coming bigger than we have imagined!

Father, we thank You that You are a just and merciful God. Forgive us for placing man’s gifts above Your Word. Forgive us for being deceived by false teachings. Forgive us for complaining instead of praying. Align us with Your Word and give us clean hands and a pure heart. Keep us humble and receptive to conviction that comes from You. We believe that You are our vindicator. We condemn every judgement that has been falsely spoken against us. We break the power of every lie, curse, offense, misunderstanding, rumor, and anything else that has tried to keep us from our inheritance. Let the spirit of prayer arise and increase in our lives. Let our foundation always be firmly planted in the truth of Your Word. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

Perfect Grace And Completed Wholeness - Year 5777

8/22/2016

October 3rd at sundown starts the new year according to the Jewish calendar. I love that their new year starts at harvest time here in the United States. Times and seasons are important for our individual lives and also for the Kingdom of God and its advancement. This year is the Jewish year 5777.

The number 5 is the number of grace/servanthood and the number 7 is the number of completion. 3 number 7s is significant because 3 is the number of wholeness/fullness.

We (servants of God) are about to enter a time of perfect grace and completed wholeness. The fullness of our purpose is about to manifest for kingdom advancement.

What does that mean? It means that everything is about to fall into alignment with what God has called us to do! A great harvest awaits. We will reap from sown seeds long forgotten. We will receive the favor and understanding of God and man that comes from wearing truth and mercy. We will receive provision and resources just as Nehemiah did to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. The nations are waiting for the sons of God to arise. We have the solutions to poverty, fatherlessness, lawlessness, depression, sickness, and every other burden that the world carries. Now the grace of God is being released to give the world what it needs. Ears are being opened and hearts tenderized to receive.

It is important that each one of us do what we are graced to do. If we try to operate out of the realm of our God given assignment, then we will surely fail.

September is going to be a month of great breakthrough and answered prayers. This is to super charge our faith and jumpstart us into the new year. We must listen carefully to instructions and pay close attention to strategy being released. We must question the Holy Spirit about everything because He will lead us and guide us into all truth. We must use every piece of wisdom, knowledge and discernment that God gives us. We will see and hear God more than ever before. Prophetic dreams will be released that will shift governments and places of power. This is the season for miracles, signs, and wonders. God will move in power if only we will act. We must be bold and courageous not fearing man. Extreme obedience must be our position as we claim our inheritance and secure the foundation for the next generation.

Don’t worry about your own weaknesses or present circumstances.

2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

This is the season for God’s strength to be made perfect. His grace is definitely more than enough! He will get all the glory as we move forward into the fullness of his wholeness and completion of His loving grace that abounds toward us. It’s bigger than we think and Jesus in us is the power that will give God the glory for all generations.

Ephesians 3:14-21
Appreciation of the Mystery
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,[a]  15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—  19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,  21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Father we thank You for appointed times and seasons. Forgive us for operating outside of our assignment. Align us with what You have graced us to do. We wait with great anticipation for the new year that will bring in Your perfect grace and completed wholeness matched with the fullness of Your love and power. Give us a spirit of obedience. Keep us in tune with Your movements and flowing by the leading of Your Spirit. We want our lives to bring You glory to all of the generations. Let Your fire burn within us leaving salt and light everywhere that we go. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!

Warring In Your Promised Land - On The Tip Of A New Season

8/8/2016

God starts off a new season with a vision of His promise.

Numbers 14:7-10
7 and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.  8 If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’[a]  9 Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”

10 And all the congregation said to stone them with stones

People won’t always believe Your promise! Although the promise is usually beneficial to all that are connected to you, most of the time they don’t have the prophetic vision or spirit of faith and obedience to believe. Most of the time it feels like we are being stoned by everyone around us. We can’t let the naysayers keep us from what God has shown us. Joshua and Caleb got to see the promise because they had the spirit to obey! All those 20 years old and above would die in the wilderness except for Caleb and Joshua. God was holding all those of fighting age accountable for not being willing to fight for the promise.

Joshua 1:2-3
“Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.  3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.

The next 5 verses God told Joshua to be strong and courageous 3 times
God continued to tell Joshua to be strong and courageous through all of the chapters.

Help may come from unusual places. God used Rahab the Harlot to hide God’s people spying out the land. God spared her entire family and blessed them. They prophetically gave her instructions and she obeyed and believed by faith that there she would be safe. God will also bless those who help you if they heed your prophetic instructions!
Not only was she blessed but dwelled in Israel, gave birth to Boaz, and is in the genealogy of Jesus.

Joshua 7:7-12
7 And Joshua said, “Alas, Lord God, why have You brought this people over the Jordan at all—to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us?

Although Joshua was dwelling in His promise, he became discouraged. He had to fight to guard it and see it grow. He had a weak moment and wanted to give up. He didn’t understand why his warfare wasn’t working.

10 So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face?  11 Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff.  12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you.

Sometimes the people we have fighting with us, doesn’t have the same spirit of obedience. When God gives us instruction, we must follow them. We have to pay attention to those around us who might be filled with pride and greed. They could be keeping us from winning the next battle.  Sometimes the things that we covet from our past will keep us from our promise. If God is telling us to let go of something and we refuse, then our promise will be held up!

Joshua 11:16,23
16 Thus Joshua took all this land: the mountain country, all the South, all the land of Goshen, the lowland, and the Jordan plain[a]—the mountains of Israel and its lowlands,

23 So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord had said to Moses; and Joshua gave it as an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. Then the land rested from war.

Even after all of that, there was more war that had to take place to receive the rest of the inheritance land. God told Joshua that he was getting too old. The land was to be divided amongst the tribes. Some promises are not for us but for our next generation.

Joshua 14:7-12
7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to spy out the land, and I brought back word to him as it was in my heart.

, these forty-five years, ever since the Lord spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old.  11 As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in.  12 Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said.”

Some promises God will give us supernatural strength to receive.  It doesn’t matter how long you have waited, or how old you are. If God has given you an assignment, He will give you supernatural strength to complete it. Don’t give up before it is your time. Keep faith and keep pressing into obedience regardless of how it looks or what others are saying.

The important thing is to listen to Gods voice and obey His instructions. We can’t worry about what others say. We can’t give up on the promise because of the warfare that needs to take place. We have to fight for our inheritance. God will give us our enemies while we obey his instructions and don’t intermingle with things that HE has forbidden. If He has promised it then it is ours!

The Promise Granted Through Faith

13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.  14 For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,

We are heirs of Abraham through faith. We are heirs of the world, it belongs to us. There is a process to our promise. I haven’t even reached the tip of what God promised me when I first got saved. He has answered many promises on the journey, but to get to the end result I have to stay in the fight.

I encourage you to be strong and courageous. Remember our battle isn’t against flesh and blood. We fight our enemies with the Word, prayer, obedience, worship, repentance, thankfulness, joy, love, and all the fruits of the spirit. We must keep our thoughts on Him so the enemy can’t entertain our imagination.

We are at the tip of a new prophetic season! I can’t wait to reveal what God has been showing me. While I have been in a season of promises, I have been on my face wondering why God brought me here because the war has been difficult! It’s about to shift. God says “Get Up”!

Father, we thank You that You are with us wherever we go. Forgive us for not always being strong and courageous. Forgive us for not realizing that there are enemies in our camp. Forgive us for holding on to things that You told us to let go of. We get up now and proclaim our promise. We stand in obedience and by faith move forward to receive everything that You have shown us. Help us end this season well and transition boldly and smoothly into the new. We don’t care who stands with us as long as you are there. We give You praise and glory for bringing us this far and for the new supernatural strength that we are about to receive. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
