Galatians 4:7 (NKJV)
7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
This means that whatever was given to Jesus, is also ours. Everything that Jesus accomplished on the cross is available to us. So why are God’s people not enjoying their inheritance? There are many variables that can answer this question, but one that we have a solution to is our obedience.
When we say no, it limits our access. When our children say no to us we discipline them. They get time outs, loose privileges, or get taps on the hand or bottom. They have to show true remorse and understanding before we trust them again. They say sorry, we forgive, but true repentance happens in the heart and can only be expressed through action. What happens next time will determine if they learned from their disobedience.
Proverbs 3:12 (NKJV)
12 For whom the Lord loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights.
Hebrews 12:6-11New King James Version (NKJV)
6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”[a]
7 If[b] you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
We discipline our children because we love them and want to see them do well. This is why God disciplines us. If He let us do whatever we wanted, having all access, all power, and authority without self-control, His name wouldn’t be made great. We have to be in alignment with His Word to gain full access.
Having keys is a big responsibility. We don’t let our children have keys to our house or car without believing that they are mature enough to handle the responsibility. We definitely don’t leave them alone with those keys until we can trust that they won’t abuse their access by using them for their own purposes without permission (sneaking out, having parties, etc.) We also need to know that they won’t lose them. they have to understand the importance of guarding their access. God gives us our gifts and calls without taking them back (Romans 11:29), but we can lose access and become ineffective if we let disobedience steal our keys. Just because you have a gift, it doesn’t mean that you have the access!
When our children say yes. It pleases us. Their obedience is often rewarded. Do you really think that we came up with this system?…. It is a pattern of God.
God is releasing keys in this season! There are many that endured seasons of discipline and have proven that they are ready for more. I saw many different people opening many different doors. I saw one opening a door to a new house. Another opening a door to a new office, and someone else opening the lock of prison. The captives are being set free! Safes are being opened. There is access to the very thing that was missing to unlock your purpose. God has placed the Kingdom on the inside of us. We are equipped with everything that we need to fulfill our purpose. We won’t find it in religion. We won’t find it intellectually. It will only be revealed to us by faith in alignment with the will of God and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
Luke 17:20-21 (NKJV)
20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’[a] For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
If you have been trusting and hoping in the Lord then this is your hour to receive your desire. Your roots are planted deep and have been nourished by the water of the Word. You have learned how to endure every season and no longer need to concern yourself with lack. Growth and increase is your portion. Multiplication and promotion is here. Your fruit will remain and never stop producing!
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV)
7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear[a] when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
Full access has been given. Now it is time to pray and get strategy for what’s next. Move forward without fear because God is with you. His Word is Your light.
Psalm 119:105(NKJV)
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
Father, we thank you for access to Your Kingdom. Forgive us for not listening to Your instruction and saying no to our purpose. Today we say yes and receive full access. We receive the keys that we need to unlock our inheritance. We put our trust and hope in You. We will no longer fear what’s ahead, but boldly embrace our purpose. Light our path and make the crooked places straight. We want to endure all seasons and never stop produces fruit to give You glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
