Children are a blessing in so many ways. They bring so much flavor into the mix of my life, I couldn’t imagine not being a mother. All mothers know, that children not only bring joy, but they also bring out the lioness in us all. Nobody is gonna mess with my babies, especially not the devil! Children will cause you to pray like you never thought you had power to. You want to improve your prayer life? Start praying for your children. The Holy Spirit will start reminding you of all kind of things to pray about. I remember when my oldest daughter was about 8 years old she was at a friend’s house playing. She hurt her ankle doing a cartwheel. Her foot hit the corner of a wooden toy chest. She didn’t tell me when I picked her up. I guess it wasn’t hurting her enough yet. That weekend she had went to the zoo and amusement park where she was on her feet all day. Her foot and ankle became extremely swollen. I took her to the emergency room. They told me it was fractured and she needed to see her primary doctor. Her primary doctor sent her to a children’s university to see a bone specialist. This situation caused me to pray intensely. Before going to the hospital I laid hands on her and declared that she was healed. I believed that God was the same today as He was yesterday and was concerned about her wholeness. We went to the university and she took more ex-rays. They said that the other doctors were wrong. She did not have any fractures in her foot or ankle! That’s what they said, but I know the truth. God healed her! Hallelujah!!! As a babe in Christ, this brought me to a new level of faith. I pray this testimony stirs up yours as well. Jesus finished the work at the cross. We have already been healed by His stripes. I know many are going through all kinds of situations. It is a battle and a struggle. All of our journey’s and struggles are different, but God wants us all to be made whole. Don’t give up. God still heals. He still delivers. He loves each and every one of us and is concerned about all the details of our lives. There is nothing too big or too small for Him to accomplish.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
We are already healed! Try looking at yourselves and your children and see healing no matter what our natural eyes see or what the doctors are saying. I know it’s not easy. Focus on the end results. Miracles still happen!
Father, we come in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the full work of the cross. Jesus took those stripes so that we can be healed. Today we say His beatings were not in vain. We accept and expect healing for ourselves and our families. Forgive us for complaining instead of praying. Build up our faith. Let us experience Your miracle power. Show us how to pray and believe. We trust You. We know that You want the best for us. We give You everything. Fill us with Your Word and Your Spirit. Let us feel Your presence. Let our testimonies give You glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
